The Overdue Life of Amy Byler by Kelly Harms

2.0

I am not a mother. However, there is evidence that it is not a requirement to lose one’s individual personality and interests at the time of gestation, and that motherhood does not mandate becoming a martyr as a hobby. To that end, I found Amy whiny, timid, boring-why these men are lining up for dates with her is beyond me- and a plain old broken record stick in the mud. Had to force myself to finish. Loved the idea, but the character killed it for me.
