Originally, I thought this was going to be a romance or a focus on the main character’s love life, but the longer I listened, the more I realized this book actually turned out to be a beautiful story of everlasting friendship. I really enjoyed the character development, and despite some bittersweet and sad feelings, it was a reminder of how important it is to love people hard while they are still here. I’ve lost several relatives to cancer, and it sucks every time.
What a beautifully written story.
