Hawk by Serena Akeroyd

3.0

I loved the beginning of this book it was honestly great but to be honest this book kind of fell flat for me unlike the previous books. If you thought Guilia was crazy well she’s nothing compared to Amara. Amara is the definition of bloodthirsty to a point where she is just straight up homicidal and a genuine psycho. Her character grows but in a way that wasn’t exactly predictable tbh. Hawks character does not change at all he also does not seem to grow at all from what’s happened to him. I feel like I’m alone in this but I really did not care for Quinn’s character. Like I get the point of his character but honestly his attitude towards Amara initially made me want to punch him multiple times. Idk maybe that’s just me but he didn’t bring really anything other than the fact that he can draw faces and attracts animals.
