Alexander: Child of a Dream by Valerio Massimo Manfredi

2.0

“the only thing that grows over time is the glory of those who have lived honourably.”

Here's the thing. I would have loved this book when I was ten, reading Percy Jackson and fangirling over anything related to mythology or ancient history. Don't get me wrong tho, I still love mythology and ancient history, actually right now my whole IB projects are based on Alexander, but still this book was so meh to me.

If I was judging with the criteria of a 10 year old, this would probably be my favorite book as it addresses my favorite history men ever and the language is so simple that even me (who in that time was not fluent in English) could understand it.

But right now, I'm already in high school and I believe my criteria has become more strict so.... this book is good for kids.... but if you want to read something about Alexander that is way much fun and more adult-ish you could read [b:Alexander the Great: A Very Short Introduction|21065370|Alexander the Great A Very Short Introduction|Hugh Bowden|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1403536568l/21065370._SY75_.jpg|40430014]
