In the Great Green Room: The Brilliant and Bold Life of Margaret Wise Brown by Amy Gary

3.0

An interesting life of a great children's author. Her struggles with love and feelings of inadequacy made her, and the human experience, feel very real and present. The beginning of the book was hard for me to get into due to Margaret's extreme privilege and wealth. Constant vacationing on islands and checks from Daddy felt dull and disappointing.
