I'm in a complete daze after reading this book. I guess I should say listening to this book. I don't know if I can string together complete thoughts regarding what I just witnessed. If Gideon the 9th is considered grim dark I don't know if anything else would even measure up to that term. This book contains immeasurable heartbreak interwoven with moments of levity. Characters you want to hate for the entire book you end up falling in love with. Your hopes and dreams for happy ending our dashed against a rock like waves tossed in a storm. However I absolutely adored this book.
