My edgy teenage self is disappointed in me, but I honestly prefer many of the modern adaptations of these stories (even the Disney ones!). Some of these tales aged very poorly, a few were largely incomprehensible, and the ebook I read was riddled with typographical errors. Still, some of these old fairy tales do still slap.
