I haven’t felt so compelled to keep reading in quite some time! The story is clever and well-done, and the characters are vibrant and believable. The writing style felt a bit over-written at times, and the dialogue never felt natural to me, though. However, I would have kept reading if every year of Oona’s life was covered in a larger book or series, and I’d gladly pick up another book from the author!
