Overall I really enjoyed this book! My issues were with the overkill of references as to how great the police are. We get it...police officers are trained and only kill when absolutely necessary. There are a few bad apples that ruined the name of the entire force...got it. There were also some super cheesy moments that made me cringe...
The storyline was great though. Going to a different country to rescue the mayors daughter from a cyber criminal was cool and very Die Hard inspired (even referenced in the book).
In the end, I had to give this a 3. Not the best book I’ve read from him, or even the best in this series, but still a good read.
