Shopaholic and Sister by Sophie Kinsella

There’s cheeseburgers and then there’s filet mignon; They’re both beef but they are not one in the same. Although, as filet mignon isn’t always appropriate, sometimes what you really need is a good cheeseburger. These books are the fast food of literature. The cheeseburgers of books. Quick, easy, satisfying, and exactly what they say they are. The wheel is not being reinvented here but if you’re looking for something mindless and entertaining they will surely do the trick. The books tend to get better throughout the series but that could also be because I’ve come to accept the almost painful dialogue and cliché storylines and not because of any real improvements on the stories themselves.

That being said, give em a read. Eat a cheeseburger now and then.
