#Junkie by Cambria Hebert

5.0

"He was my person. The one I always wanted to be there."

#Junkie by Cambria Herbert was one book I had sitting in my tbr for far too long, and let me tell you, I'm kicking myself for waiting. Goddamn, it slayed me in all the best kind of ways.

I can completely understand why, for so many people, #Trew is their favourite couple over Romeo and Rimmel and Braeden and Ivy. Hell their feet are pressed so hard against the accelerator their coming a close damn second to my personal fave, Rome and Rim, (See what I did there with the driving analogy? 😏), sorry I went off track (ops there I go again πŸ˜‚). Point is, the chemistry, attraction and love between Drew and Trent is undeniable. The way Cambria Herbert wrote their story was so beautifully and amazingly written, I forgot time and place - I finished this book in one day, it was that enthralling.

"There was definitely more between Trent and me than just friendship. Way, way much more."

If you enjoy the GFY trope in MM romance, this book is for you. If you love the bestfriends to lovers trope in any romance, this book is for you. If you love a romance that gives you so much alpha love and certainty between two main characters, this book is for you. If you freaking love hot guys in fast mustang's, who love French fries and tomatoes, and love each other so deeply you can feel it through the words you read... THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!

β€œI haven’t admitted it. I wasn’t ready.” His blue eyes lifted to mine. β€œBut I am now.”

This book is a huge reminder of why Cambria Herbert became one of my absolute favourite authors. Bring on #Rev because I need more Trew πŸ‘¨β€β€οΈβ€πŸ’‹β€πŸ‘¨
