I didn’t realize how much I needed a romantasy with fae until I read this book. I absolutely loved this book.
I loved Saeris as our main character. Following her was great and I loved getting insight to her thoughts and how she worked with the quicksilver. Kingfisher is a book boyfriend that I can easily fall in love with. I loved learning more about him and see him evolve with Saeris. I can’t wait to see more of these two in the future.
The side characters were perfection. I love a found family trope and I fell in love with this group. Specifically Carrion and Lorreth. I also cannot wait to see more of them, I’m hoping for a ton of more details on them.
I enjoyed the story so much. I’m excited to see how this story unfolds with future books. I had some full blown reactions to some of the more intense scenes (no spoilers don’t worry) but I wish I could reread those scenes for the first time already. I definitely recommend this book!
