Got given this book as part of a Secret Santa. Don't usually read fantasy style books but read this cover to cover in a day. I loved the way the folklore and the fantasy elements tied into the story and gave the story a magical element. There are some content warnings for this book, but I would recommend this to a friend as despite its dark elements, it is magical realism at its best and I already want to reread this and be in that world all over again.
