I read this on the plane to Portland. Intentionally cause, it's set in Portland. This--the third in a series--is too much man. The idea of a serial killer seducing and messing with the lead detective on her case was cute in the first book. Stretching credulity in the second and just plan ridiculous here,
The Susan--reporter character--has no utility anymore as a subplot/joke. She was just annoying at this point.
I can not believe that his series continues for a few more books. I am done.
I feel bad panning cuz the prose and plot were certainly serviceable and there were some fun ideas. But the joke is just worn out.
