A good romance for the readers in their late 20s or early 30s.
I enjoyed the romance a lot and the friendship dynamics. However, sometimes, for a bunch of 30-year-olds they could be a bit unfiltered ( *cough* Iris *cough* ).
As someone who went through some bullying, I couldn't love the indifference and mean comments they had for Delilah growing up and be all good with the present. I would have preferred if this wasn't a friend's sister trope and if Delilah was just the school misfit.
I love every bit of Claire's scenes with Ruby and how she thinks of her daughter and her love live.
It's spicy, but not heavy in quantity or kinkiness.
The ending was fulfilling and very romantic which got me happy.
