Confessions by Kanae Minato

dark mysterious tense fast-paced
Confessions is a book where all of the words matter. Nothing goes to waste. There are parallels to incidents such as, school shootings here in America. It really makes you think and you become invested in seeing where things lead. And things only seem to escalate each chapter. I love stories with different perspectives, and this book excels at showcasing different characters way of thinking. It’s funny that my last book of the year is also my favorite.
There are some gripes I have with it though, like the repetition it goes on toward the end, but I also understand that this is a way to confirm if certain theories are true.
Overall very good, and very unsettling.
