The Bloater by Rosemary Tonks

4.0

First heard about this when Stewart Lee mentioned it, and it's elusiveness, on some old podcast or other only to discover that it was to be released the week after my listen with an introduction by the man himself. Of course, the radiophonic workshop connection intrigued me but that is not the main focus of the book which is a love triangle, technically a square if we include the almost invisible husband, centred on Min. The descriptions of this small scale story is where it shines and it is a thoroughly modern-feeling read.
