Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
The opening chapters were interesting to me, but as more POV characters were introduced, the pacing slowed significantly and there was very little that made each character stand out from the others besides external factors -- an odd situation for a style that seems to rely on psychological interiority of its characters. Also, I know that the antagonist's POV chapters are supposed to be menacing, but I just found him absolutely insufferable and couldn't make it through any of his diatribes -- not enough going for the rest of the book to make me wade through that.
