I found this a little slow to start of and I was worried this would suffer from middle book syndrome where it's necessary for the plot but not necessarily the most interesting but about a third of the way in it picked up dramatically and I loved it. I think mostly I just prefered Yumeko's perspective over the others and it became more prominent as the book proceeded.
I loved how the other characters developed. I just was totally in love with them all by the end. I'm super excited to read the last book.
