The People: No Different Flesh by Zenna Henderson

4.0

This had a different feel than the last book, a bit darker and sadder. The wonder of it all is still there, though. It was a bit like being required to wear a dead opossum in order to go sky diving; it's a shame that something awful has to be a part of something so amazing, but the amazing part wins out in the end. (Obviously I am a master of the simile; it had to be a dead opossum.)
