This was such a fun novel. I absolutely LOVE Charleston, SC so when I saw this book available I HAD to read it. It was breeze to read! I devoured it in one weekend and the author placed me right in Charleston at all my favorite spots!

The main character is Tipsy Collins post divorce. She is a talented artist, stuck in a rut, moving into a plantation house with her children. I loved Tipsy’s 2 friends, they cracked me up. I hated her vindictive, sneaky ex and was thrilled when she found a new guy to date. This book has a full cast of fun, southern, characters that I enjoyed!

The other thing about Tipsy is that she is clairvoyant. She can see and talk to ghosts and this new house of hers…it has two loud and bothersome ghosts, Jane and Henry Mott. These ghosts are stuck in the house, unable to move on, and they fight daily because Jane is certain that Henry murdered her and then killed himself. Henry vehemently denies killing Jane and Tipsy realizes that she must help them figure out what happened the day the both died a century ago. As Tipsy tries to solve the mystery, the strain and stress of it all takes a toll on her health.

This was a great book, that provided me the perfect escape to Charleston, since our yearly visit was cancelled by COVID. I connected with Tipsy, laughed a lot, and became obsessed with discovering what happened to Jane and Henry! Easily a 5 star read for me! I loved everything about it!!
