Elegie for Eddie by Jacqueline Winspear

4.0

This is one of my favorite mystery series. I love the care which JW treats her main character Maisie Dobbs. Unlike other female mystery leads (Stephanie Plum) Maisie grows and changes with each novel, she seems so real. This time Maisie is solving the mystery of the murder of a young man with special needs who she grew up with. Deals a lot with the contrast between the poor working class in London vs. the wealthy. More lead up to WW2, I think there will be room for plenty more MD novels I hope.
