Dragons. Who would have thought the legend was true? That they actually exist? But Leah has no choice but to believe it, because she witnessed Fel turn into one. While Leah is still struggling with her deathbringer magic, she realises that Fel will be safer if she isn't with him. Atleast until she can block out the voice in her head.

Fel, on the other hand, travels all the way to Fernick to find a Dragon Lord who can help him. Instead, he finds an entire hidden population of dragons just like him. But just like in Aluria, there is unrest in the land of the Dragons. And it all seems to stem from a powerful being whose consciousness has been trapped in the hollow and is trying to make it's way back to its home realm.

Naia and River have so much to deal with. Between trying to save the Ancient village, looking after her kingdom while her father and brother are away and dealing with the threat of ironhold all at once, they still need to navigate their new relationship. But River seems less like himself lately and Naia has to figure out why before it's too late.

My thoughts:
I loved, loved, loved this book! Where the first book was more world building and fimilarizing, this book was all mystery and action! I loved the plots, the twists, just the story as a whole. All the characters are so interesting and they each had there own unique journeys! There is so much mystery and so many shocks to the system! I loved the dragons, the magic and finally having all those little ends tied up. What a brilliant way to wrap up these two books 😍
