I still really, really love this world, and I read this book so I could learn more about it, but I didn't really enjoy the experience. Too much completely unnecessary ableist language, and not in a reclaiming kind of way but just for edginess' sake. For a book that deals so closely with mental disorders/illness it was especially disappointing and jarring and ultimately just made me want to be done with the book quicker.
