Fear Nothing by Dean Koontz

4.0

I don't read a lot of Dean Koontz, because I prefer Stephen King as a writer. Fear Nothing, while enforcing that opinion, was still a good book. The main plot is really interesting--it's along the lines of the mystery-illness-infecting-a-town thing--and Christopher Snow is an engaging protagonist. You root for him to win, even if the story does get a little far-fetched. Koontz has a good creepiness factor to his books, but leaves a bit to be desired in the explanation. We really learned hardly anything about what happens to Moonlight Bay and the people in it. Good thing there's a sequel...
