I feel like I never really knew what was happening. Beginning, middle, and end. Nevertheless I liked it!!

Harrow and Gideon are so in love with each other and yet so far from knowing it?
Also I don't trust the emperor or that Gideon is dead. Like pls no I couldn't stand it 😭

Looking forward to reading book 2.
