as a queer person, reading something that was very god heavy, sermon-like, and heterocentric, just made me a bit too uncomfortable to finish. i felt more like i was being preached at, when i was looking and hoping for just general stories and studies about love. i was expecting it to be more like everything i know about love, but it unfortunately just missed the mark for me. ):
