The spice is what held this story together for me. I felt like the FMC lost her tenacity & become a love sick puppy. Wasn’t any real character development & the plot didn’t excite me. I was a little disappointed as I enjoyed b1. 
But the spice was great & I am already interested in Valtu & his spin off series. It was an easy read overall but nothing amazing.
