Lore Olympus has been in my general area of being on the internet for a long time. I used to be a far more avid fangirl online and in that time Lore Olympus continued to follow me. However, for whatever reason, it just didn’t grab me. I somehow managed to watch a 5-hour long video essay on it, as well as read the first five episodes, and yet it eluded me. That was until I saw the first volume at my local target and my dear book friends suggested for us to read it together. This was a fatal mistake because I tore this book from cover to cover and was done with it after two days. Now I’m a LO maniac and I’m on the hunt for more content, I reinstalled webtoon, I’m looking for fan forums, more video essays. It grabbed me by the heart and now I’m stuck. I can’t escape this life now, I’ve become obsessed and can’t wait for the next volume to drop in July (yeah of course I already know, I told you I’ve been searching). The reimaging of this beloved myth is both creative and captivating, the art style is unmatched, and while a little cringe at times the writing is lighthearted and fun. You can trust and believe that I will be watching the show as soon as it drops.
