From the cover I expected a cute queer romance. And it was, but it was also a book about religious trauma and what its like to be gay and in the church. I loved that you got that story from the perspective of someone who is bi but not in the church and is trying to be with someone who is gay and in the church. It really helped the reader to see each side. To see how extreme the church can sound to someone on the outside, but also show what it's like to be the person in the church who is struggling.

As someone who grew up in the church and struggles with religious trauma, it made me appreciate and enjoy this book more!
