Wyrd Sisters by Terry Pratchett

5.0

“She walked quickly through the darkness with the frank stride of someone who was at least certain that the forest, on this damp and windy night, contained strange and terrible things and she was it.”

“Granny’s implicit belief that everything should get out of her way extended to other witches, very tall trees and, on occasion, mountains.”

Probably my favorite so far, I was in stitches from the very first paragraph to the last, can't even remember the last time I laughed at a book like that. Granny Weatherwax remains an icon, Nanny and Magrat are also incredible and possibly even more unhinged (which I didn't think could happen but then there we were, summoning a demon from a washing basin and giving him a stern talking-to).
