A Very Klingon Khristmas by Patrick Faricy, Paul Ruditis

5.0

I bought this on a nerdy whim and read it to two small children who had no idea what Star Trek or what Klingons were - they listened all the way through, although of course the context was entirely missing for them. A year later, one of those children was eager to hear this one again although, again, their knowledge of Star Trek is close to zero. Despite this, they were even more engaged with the text: perhaps they found a Christmas tale with the unusual undertones of violence and sci-fi (children being gifted Klingon weapons, the sleigh is drawn by space ships etc..) to be a fun addition to our Christmas library.
