To Catch A Suitor, by Sarah Adams

4.0

Starting this book, I had some expectations. I anticipated it to be as funny as To Con a Gentleman. Instead of laughing out loud, my emotions were pulled the opposite direction. This read is more poignant. I thought Rose and Carver would be amusing (which they were) and that, in combination with Elizabeth's series of unfortunate events, helped break up some of the heartache with Elizabeth and Mary, Elizabeth and Oliver, and Elizabeth and Wesley. I'm really hoping Wesley gets his HEA after all that! He was put through a bit of an upheaval. I love that Sarah gave this sequel a different tone and look forward to seeing more from her.
