What "Struggle of the Church"? TFW using faith as your political movement to grab all the spices and silk of the East?! I hated the Church all the more because you use "Crusade" as a means to invade.

Sadly, with Japan's twisted feudalism, your Conquest did not thrive.
Haist.
I am so conflicted with all the chapters, I felt so triggered. To those prayles, sorry for saying this, pero deserve ninyong mamatay.
Amen to the moon and back.

The thing that made me sad is that the book faces us with the truth that Church, no matter where in the world, is very political. And who suffers the most? The poor. Those with little means to alleviate their barren lifestyle, feeding themselves with potatoes and alas, blind faith.

I am not giving this five stars, the heck.
Imma put this random tweet here:
I get confused when christians brag about missionary work, like babe, being a colonizer should embarrass you.

I may admire Shusaku Endo's work, but I hate his characters lol.
