A Common Pornography: A Memoir by Kevin Sampsell
5.0
Coming of age fragments are strung together in this memoir by its flawed yet charming author. This is not a trite, feel-good, heartwarming sort of memoir, nor is it pervasively dark. There is a gritty realness to it, a quality perhaps most succinctly put as human.
Sampsell is a voice I will return to.
