I really loved this book! at first I didn’t like the whole “Rah sexism” call when things don’t go Eliza’s way but that quickly changed when I realized how true it is and how integrated into legit everyone sexism can go. Even the best feminists lol. I really loved the plot though and I adored Len (unlike some people I can happily admit I loved that he was a baseball boy) and Winona is awesome. Eliza’s sweater never grew on me I’ll be honest nor did I get the symbolism of it. I thought Len had stolen it haha (though the surprise with him was shocking to me ngl missed that one!) I thought the romance was very cute and realistic and I really connected with some of the characters anxieties (especially Winona as I read this while procrastinating my grad school applications haha) and thought they were well done.
Overall: I really liked it. Loved/hated the month later part bc when will it be my turn haha they’re too cute. I think the only reason I can’t give this a five is bc Sylvia didn’t give RWRB a five and I’m petty. Jk (or not..? Hehe) I just had a hard time connecting to the school bits sometimes. Like no one in my high school took each other that seriously at least of what I saw. Idk I might have been distracted with mom but I don’t think anyone woulda given a toot like this school did when the drama was found out.  So it just felt like a lot tho I can imagine many high schools with that interconnected of drama haha.
