I have long waited for this book from Mindy! But I wasn't prepared for the level of feels! Hot teachers? Minor office romance? (WITH TEACHERS!) Steamy scenes?! Jazz as foreplay??!! I don't know where to start. I loved Lula's natural awkwardness at all times - unless she is singing. And I adored Dom's natural aversion to feelings or exploring his own reticence to accept his mom moving on romantically. They naturally curled into each other's embrace and helped each other grow - which is the loveliest thing a romance can do!
Did I mention the steam though? I didn't?! It demands to be mentioned. Without being overly explicit it was a wildly sexy story! The build up alone had me squirming. The teacher rep kind of killed me - as a teacher all of these are real feelings and moments. I want more of this ride or die bestie and can't wait to see the other sexy brothers in action!
