Romantic Killer, Vol. 2 by Wataru Momose

4.0

I received an eARC of this title through NetGalley in return for an honest review.

I think I liked this a little better than the first volume. Anzu's personality really starts to form in this volume when the first she seemed more focused on losing all her stuff. This volume also introduces a 3rd potential romantic trope, but I'm not sure how I feel about them. He's a rich kid who thinks he can win Anzu's affection by buying her stuff.

I feel like this series is trying to get the One Punch vibe by making fun of Shojo tropes in manga, but personally, I feel like it does not always quite hit the mark. Sometimes it does, but other times it just misses. I still think it's funny. It has moments that will make you laugh out loud.
