I'm not saying the killer needed to be telegraphed, but it shouldn't be one of those "Oh, there's 10 pages left, we probably should wrap this up now" type endings. I honestly didn't remember where it was mentioned that Jenny and Miles had a child, so the resolution was a bit of a surprise.

I thought I had missed something, because solving the mystery seemed to come out of nowhere.
