Undrowned: Black Feminist Lessons from Marine Mammals by Alexis Pauline Gumbs

challenging emotional hopeful informative inspiring reflective relaxing slow-paced

4.5

I learned so much! This is a slower read, but there's so much info and emotion packed into each section that I appreciate the book's pace. I don't know as much about environmental justice, especially in relation to Blackness and feminism, so this was an enlightening read. There are some parts that felt a bit redundant, but those were parts that I had to read again because I wasn't looking for the nuance. Would definitely recommend!
