Agatha Raisin Omnibus: The Quiche of Death, The Potted Gardener, The Vicious Vet and The Walkers of Dembley by M.C. Beaton

4.0

I'm absolutely sucked in to the world of Carsley and Agatha Raisin. It feels like it did back when I binge watched all the Agatha Christie adapted TV shows - Poirot and Miss Marple, namely.

I didn't quite like this second foray as much as the first - Agatha mooning over James was a bit annoying... it seemed to take away some of her forcefulness. Not that I think Agatha is without complexity, but that her sudden turn into a frightened girl seemed jolting.

Nonetheless, this feels like a guilty pleasure that I'm absolutely going to indulge in a while longer.
