The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt

Did not finish book. Stopped at 19%.
Writing was beautiful but not for me. Wasn’t in the right headspace for it. Descriptions of the traumatic event at the beginning gave me anxiety and the way spaces and scenes were described were also not vibing with me. I also didn’t know going in that this was not about adult characters and wasn’t wanting a coming of age story at that magnitude.
