This book was lacking something and I'm not sure what.. Plus Muriel didn't have as much of a part in this novel it mainly focuses on Sheila and Rons daughter Louise and the surprise visit of a previous village tenant. This was also the first novel that didn't have a wedding in it which again made it feel like it was lacking something... All in all a must read, if you enjoy the series but i didn't think this was the strongest entry yet...
