I thought the plot was incredibly interesting, I loved how it wove together the three narratives and how they all have parallels. However the writing style was a little difficult for me to get into, and in the second half of the book it was very easy to guess where things were going. The book also deals heavily with themes of abuse, sexual and otherwise, which was not super well advertised but should definitely be taken into consideration before reading.
