The Rights of the Reader by Daniel Pennac

funny inspiring lighthearted relaxing

4.5

What a delightful book! Pennac took the illusive thoughts and feelings of a book lover and put them into words. He was able to describe and comment on feelings that we usually feel are solitary ones. A great book for parents, teachers, students, new readers, and those who feel the weight to be "well-read."
