This was an incredibly fun romance with a magical plot that was very silly in a great way.
Our characters are both struggling with their past, leading them to each other and their magical adventure. Getting transported into your favorite teen show and finding out the characters suck is such a hilarious idea, and I thought the execution was very fun, although I would have loved more answers about how the magic worked.
The romance between the two MCs is a little predictable, but it does exactly what it's supposed to do and hits the beats of a friends-to-lovers romance perfectly! Their tension was well-written, and I believed they were in love from the start.
I listened to this as an audiobook and I thought the narrators did a fantastic job! They did great with inflection and making the side characters sound unique.
