Dysfunctional, disconcerting and compelling.
The commentary around race, gender and performative consumerism was really well written and broke up the narrator's account of her obsessive and unhealthy relationships. The non-linear structure felt uneasy at times, but that suited the novel as the whole thing was uncomfortable.
Although it is short I still felt it could have ended sooner and had just as much impact. Maybe there's only so much chilling introspection I can take, although it may also have been the audio style as I found 30-40 mins at a time was enough.

Moderate: Stalking
