I loved everything about this book! The mystery starts with a bang in chapter one and leads through a variety of different restaurants in town. Learning about different Phillipinx foods along the way is enlightening and mouthwatering. I love how much Lila values her friends and family and how she works so hard to clear their names. I felt so calm and comforted the whole time even though I was reading about a murder!
