โGirls Just Want to Have Fundsโ by Molly Benjamin

As an 18 year old I think itโs pretty safe to say that my budgeting skills are.. well, non-existent. Thatโs why I loved this book so much. I was astounded by how much even opening this book motivated me to sort stuff out! I had a very cynical view on budgeting before reading this book and genuinely thought it would be quite an average experience, something that just needed to be done. But after completing my own budgeting following Mollyโs many suggestions to my surprise I now feel quite excited to stick to my plan and see where it will get me!
I seriously couldnโt put this book down! Rather than feeling behind the game like some conversations around money tend to do, reading Mollyโs book I felt empowered to take control of my money but also to think about my beliefs and views around it.
Infographics, statistics and a clear writing style all made this book, and by extension its contents, perfectly achievable for me! I sat down and managed to use strategies that work for me.
Itโs a great source of information for everyone who, like me, has zero clue1 Although I just finished school, I have never felt less educated on adulting! โGirls Just Want to Have Fundsโ taught me super, investing, insurance and so much more!
Even if youโre just looking to learn about finance this is the book for you! This was me when I first sat down to read, but I ultimately ended up making some really promising and productive changes to my finances.
I felt knowledgable enough to compare my super, consolidate it if need be and open up new bank accounts to help me categorise!
Please read this book! It is incredible! Get a group of friends together and do the tasks with each other!
