Then Came You by Nicole Falls

4.0

Then Came You was a nice end to the series. We saw a few connections & closure from Book 2 and a good look into Ms. Patricia Payne's life. She is the controlled sister with several secrets that show their faces simultaneously. Both Patricia and Cel are trying their best to not continue the cycle of dysfunctional love...while creating an avenue for it at the same time. Patricia slowly and unwillingly begins to fall for a man made for her. Her issues with control, stubbornness and holding up a perfect front almost destroy one of the longest relationships she has. Falling for Damon breaks down a wall that opens sooo many doors.

Damon is a young man who seems to know what he wants, until he meets Patricia. Patricia brings out the desire to settle down now that he has his own footing with the opening and success of his new Bakery. He is game for their contractual duties, until he is not. He tries to get a handle on his feelings without getting hurt...but that is a fail as Patricia is NOT ready to admit they are seemingly on the same page. Can he get past Patricia's walls to love her the way he want to and build a family along with his brothers?

I love the villages both Damon and Patricia have to guide them and acknowledge their true feelings. We tend to run around the obvious looking for a way around or to avoid hurt that is unseen because of "boyfriends/girlfriends past".
